The Role of Manager - CCU Crisis Readiness
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Manager - CCU Crisis Readiness to lead the preparedness efforts for Qiddiya's City Command Unit. This position is central to ensuring the unit is fully equipped to respond effectively to large-scale crises, major incidents, and various emergency scenarios across the city. The role focuses on strategic planning, comprehensive preparedness, and rigorous exercising to build organizational resilience and facilitate seamless crisis activation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve crisis management plans, emergency response frameworks, and business continuity procedures for city-wide operations.
- Design, plan, and facilitate crisis simulation exercises, including tabletop scenarios and full-scale drills, involving both internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address gaps in crisis preparedness across all city assets.
- Coordinate with government agencies, emergency services, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with national and local crisis management requirements.
- Establish and maintain robust crisis communication protocols to ensure clear and timely information flow during major events.
- Lead after-action reviews following exercises and real events, producing recommendations for corrective actions and capability improvements.
- Provide support for live control room operations by manning the crisis operations desk when required.
- Support the integration of crisis readiness standards into the broader operational readiness framework across all Qiddiya assets.
Required Experience
Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in crisis management, emergency preparedness, or a related field, demonstrating a proven track record in developing and implementing readiness strategies for large-scale operations.
