Manager Procurement

Position Summary

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking a highly experienced Manager, Procurement. This full-time role is central to overseeing all procurement activities, leading the procurement team, and ensuring the implementation of strategic and efficient processes within the organization.

Strategic Leadership in Procurement

The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing a strategic procurement approach. This involves ensuring that all procurement processes are efficient, effective, and fully compliant with legal, technical, and commercial factors, operating within established regulatory frameworks. The role is focused on driving value for money across all goods, services, and works procured.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers for goods, services, and supplies.
• Manage purchases supporting customer-related business processes or internal use.
• Address defects and delivery issues with suppliers, including negotiating refunds.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and engineering for proper scheduling and movement of goods.
• Lead the Procurement team to develop and implement a strategic procurement approach.
• Ensure procurement processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with legal, technical, and commercial factors within regulatory frameworks.
• Drive value for money in the procurement of goods, services, and works.
• Coordinate procurement activities to provide effective business support.
• Review and develop Procurement processes and procedures, ensuring stakeholder review, communication, and effective implementation.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop appropriate contracting strategies that protect business interests.

Candidate Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant degree.
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
