Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drives

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking Field Service Engineers (FSEs) for a full-time, one-year renewable contract position in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drives and requires hands-on experience with MV Motors and/or Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drive (VSD/VFD) systems. The compensation for this position is open and negotiable, dependent on the candidate's experience and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing troubleshooting and repair of MV VSD/VFD systems.
• Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Executing drive refurbishment and upgrades.
• Working on industrial applications, including pumps, compressors, fans, and large motor systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in Medium Voltage (MV) Motors and/or Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drive (VSD/VFD) systems.
• Specific experience in one or both of the following areas: MV VSD/VFD commissioning and startup, VSI / LCI drives, or MV soft starters.
• Prior field service or customer-site experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently.

Work Schedule and Contract Details

• The contract duration is one year, with potential for renewal.
• Working hours are 48 hours per week, across 6 days per week.
• Overtime is available and compensated.
