About the Role at Catrion Group

Catrion Group is seeking a Government Relation Officer to join our team in Medina. This full-time role is essential for supporting the company's government relations activities, ensuring strict compliance with all governmental regulations, and facilitating smooth business operations through effective documentation and coordination.

Core Responsibilities

The Officer, Government Relation will manage critical processes related to company and employee documentation, acting as a key liaison with various government authorities. Key duties include:

  • Processing the renewal, update, and maintenance of all company trade licenses, commercial registrations, government permits, and other official certificates for all legal entities.
  • Coordinating and representing the company before government ministries, municipalities, police departments, embassies, and other governmental authorities for official transactions.
  • Monitoring government regulations and communicating updates on new laws, policies, and procedures that may impact company operations.
  • Coordinating the payment and clearance of company-related traffic violations and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with company policies, Saudi government regulations, and applicable legal requirements.

Employee Documentation and Support

This role provides crucial support to employees regarding government-related documentation and procedures, ensuring compliance and facilitating their legal status within the Kingdom.

  • Processing the renewal and maintenance of employee-related government documents, including Iqama, work permits, residency permits, re-entry visas, and driving licenses.
  • Coordinating the attestation and legalization of employee educational certificates and official documents as required.
  • Supporting employees in processing dependent visas and providing guidance regarding applicable government procedures and requirements.
  • Coordinating with the Talent Acquisition team by providing updates on visa processing, work permit issuance, and onboarding documentation for new employees.
  • Ensuring all employee government documentation is completed prior to onboarding and employment commencement.
  • Responding to employee inquiries regarding government procedures and documentation requirements.

Identification Card Administration

A significant aspect of this role involves the comprehensive management of employee identification cards, from issuance to secure disposal, ensuring operational security and efficiency.

  • Issuing employee identification cards based on approved HR requests and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Deactivating employee identification cards upon receipt of approved separation or deactivation requests from HR.
  • Generating periodic reports covering ID card issuance, replacement, deactivation, and related activities.
  • Maintaining sufficient inventory of ID card materials, consumables, and printing supplies.
  • Coordinating preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for ID card printers and related equipment.
  • Maintaining ID card management systems, software, and user access requirements.
  • Ensuring the secure disposal of expired, damaged, or returned ID cards in accordance with company security procedures.
  • Maintaining access control requirements related to employee identification cards in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Accurate record-keeping and timely reporting are fundamental to this position, supporting transparency and accountability in all government relations and documentation activities.

  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking logs for all government transactions, licenses, permits, and employee documents.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate records of all government transactions, licenses, permits, employee documents, and ID card activities.
  • Preparing periodic reports and documentation related to government relations and employee documentation activities.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in government relations, public administration, or a similar field, demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and documentation processes.
