Operations Duty Manager

About the Role

TIBAH Airports (Madinah) is seeking an Operations Duty Manager to oversee daily airport operations in Medina, Al Madinah Province. This full-time role involves managing airside, landside, and terminal areas during assigned shifts, ensuring operational continuity, safety, and high service standards. The Operations Duty Manager acts as the senior on-duty authority and the primary escalation point for all incidents and emergencies.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and oversee all aspects of airport operations during a shift. This includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations, security protocols, and operational procedures across all airport zones. The manager is responsible for maintaining service standards and acting as the senior point of contact for all operational matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate terminal, landside, and airside operations during the assigned shift.
• Ensure strict compliance with operational procedures, safety regulations, and established service standards.
• Serve as the senior on-duty contact point for all airport stakeholders, including airlines, ground handlers, and regulatory bodies.
• Respond effectively to operational disruptions, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring timely resolution or appropriate escalation.
• Conduct routine inspections of terminal areas, ramp, apron, and landside to identify and address potential issues or hazards.
• Coordinate resources and implement operational adjustments in response to flight delays, diversions, or cancellations.
• Monitor critical airport systems to ensure optimal functionality and address any anomalies.
• Lead and accurately document shift handovers, detailing key operational issues and decisions made.
• Prepare and submit detailed shift reports to senior management.
• Support the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the airport’s safety and security management systems.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in airport operations management. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
