Job Description
About the Role
Hilton is seeking a People Operations Manager to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing human resources functions to ensure effective team member management, compliance, and development within the organization. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct management staff on effective recruiting and interviewing techniques to ensure the hiring and retention of qualified team members.
- Conduct initial interviews for all positions and analyze recruitment sources.
- Meet with external agencies to ensure Affirmative Action compliance and maintain up-to-date applicant tracking.
- Monitor team member development and utilization by controlling the implementation, administration, and monitoring of all training programs.
- Facilitate training classes, analyze current and proposed methods, and make recommendations to management for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and court rulings pertaining to Human Resources by reviewing current management practices.
- Implement new procedures and communicate new requirements verbally and in writing.
- Supervise the compliance of the hotel’s Affirmative Action Plan.
- Manage the hotel’s payroll, wage, and benefits programs, ensuring accurate and equitable application through analysis of reports and manuals.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Ability to interact effectively with all team members and employee representatives, demonstrating patience, tact, and diplomacy to resolve conflicts and gather information.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to prepare official correspondence and provide clear instructions, guidance, and counseling.
- Thorough knowledge of human resources practices and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations related to HR matters.
- Basic mathematical skills for salary and benefit administration calculations and forecasting departmental expenses using calculators and computer systems.
- Proficiency in typing for preparing written correspondence.
- Visual ability to observe team members, analyze operations, and identify areas of concern in the workplace.
Experience Required
Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant human resources or people operations role.
