About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time PHD Peer Reviewer to support its operations in Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term, stable position that offers remote work flexibility.

Role Overview

The primary function of this role is to conduct thorough peer reviews of academic manuscripts. Reviewers will critically assess submitted work to ensure its quality, originality, and adherence to academic standards. This involves evaluating research methodologies, analysis, and conclusions, and providing constructive feedback to authors and editors.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the originality and novelty of submitted manuscripts, assessing their contribution to the field.
• Critically examine study designs and methodologies for appropriateness, clarity, and reproducibility.
• Ensure comprehensive and accurate incorporation and citation of relevant literature.
• Analyze the presentation of results and the validity of conclusions drawn from the data.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and potential ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript publication status (acceptance, revision, or rejection) to the journal editor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field.
• At least 5 SCI/SSCI journal publications within the past three years.
• A deep understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the discipline.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems is beneficial.
