Principal Project Manager (Industry Solutions)

About the Role

As a Principal Project Manager within Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery at Microsoft Frontier Company, you will guide customers across the Middle East, with a focus on Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, in adopting artificial intelligence and Microsoft cloud technologies. This full-time role involves partnering with customers and internal teams to ensure business goals, technical solutions, and change plans are aligned from initiation through rollout. Your work will enable customers to translate strategic ambitions into practical programs that deliver measurable value from their investments in Microsoft technology and artificial intelligence.

Role Responsibilities

You will lead complex consulting engagements, orchestrating virtual teams, managing project scope, schedule, and budget, and guiding customers through necessary changes to achieve desired outcomes. This involves connecting executive sponsors, business stakeholders, and technical teams, translating needs into clear delivery plans, and navigating risks and issues with a structured approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the direction of solution deliveries for strategic customers across the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring secure, high-quality execution from envisioning and solution design through deployment and adoption.
• Drive project initiation and planning for large, complex, or highly visible engagements by confirming scope, building detailed work breakdown structures, aligning resources across workstreams, and establishing clear expectations with stakeholders.
• Lead contracting activities for customer and partner resources, including briefing partners, coordinating candidate selection, aligning them to delivery goals, and overseeing amendments, delivery acceptance, and invoicing in line with compliance standards.
• Orchestrate and monitor key performance, quality, risk, and financial metrics for large, complex projects; proactively manage risks and issues, and drive recovery and escalation resolution when needed.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer and internal stakeholders, representing the customer voice, leading steering or governance forums, and communicating project health, value realization, and next-step opportunities.
