About the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technical Professional - Specialty Engineering to join their team. This full-time role involves researching, designing, developing, and analyzing specialty systems such as Signaling and Imaging, Radio Frequency, and Optical systems. The position focuses on developing requirements analysis and system architecture to support the development of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analyses and prepare documentation related to specialty disciplines.
• Analyze and evaluate test and production data, prepare technical analyses, and recommend engineering methods and processes to meet design objectives for new or improved products and/or processes.
• Apply research of complex systems to achieve desired outcomes.
• Solve complex problems and identify new perspectives to recommend solutions and best practices.
• Work independently, receiving guidance only in the most complex situations.
• Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives.
• Advise multi-disciplinary teams or manage projects as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in a related field.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region. The role operates within a professional setting where independent work is expected, with support provided for highly complex challenges.
