Procurement coordinator

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the smooth and timely progression of procurement activities, coordinating across various internal and external stakeholders. The position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with vendors for document submissions and with EDRC for client comments on vendor drawings.
• Monitor Bank Guarantee (BG) submissions and collect weekly reports from suppliers.
• Conduct factory visits for expedition, weekly review meetings, and kick-off meetings with suppliers.
• Share weekly updates with China & Europe Expediting Teams and ensure action point follow-up with regional expeditors.
• Align reports with the Planning department and ensure weekly updates are shared with the Project Coordinator (PC).
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team, expedite ITP/FAT procedure approvals, FATs, stage inspections, and dispatch clearances.
• Expedite material dispatches in coordination with the Logistics department.
• Coordinate visa processing for supplier visits.
• Provide inputs for delay notices and offer documentation support for contracts.
• Coordinate supplier actions for any damages or shortages post-delivery.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a foundational understanding of procurement processes and coordination tasks. This role is suitable for entry-level professionals seeking to build a career in procurement.
