TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for a contract position in Al Jubail, Eastern Region. This role involves leading procurement activities for large-scale industrial projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and driving commercial excellence.

About the Client and Project Context

The client designs and builds projects, fostering a work environment that embraces Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). This role is critical for EPC, PMC, and Petrochemical projects, focusing on the procurement of essential materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end EPC/PMC procurement activities, including planning, sourcing strategies, vendor selection, RFQs, bid evaluations (TBE/CBE), purchase orders, and contract compliance.
• Manage the procurement of critical project materials and equipment, such as mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, structural steel, and construction-related packages, ensuring alignment with engineering and project specifications.
• Drive supplier performance and commercial excellence through negotiations, expediting, delivery monitoring, FAT/SAT coordination, logistics management, customs clearance support, and resolution of procurement issues.
• Ensure governance, reporting, and continuous improvement by maintaining procurement documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, mitigating procurement risks, and identifying cost optimization opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of procurement experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, or large-scale industrial projects. Preference will be given to candidates with experience on projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong EPC procurement expertise, including vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, strategic sourcing, purchase order management, contract administration, and procurement lifecycle management.
• Technical and systems proficiency in sourcing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and construction materials.
• Hands-on experience using SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Commercial and stakeholder management skills, including contract negotiations, cost savings initiatives, supplier relationship management, logistics/customs coordination, and procurement support during project execution, commissioning, and turnaround/shutdown activities.
