About the Opportunity

KAFAAT Recruitment is seeking a Procurement Specialist on behalf of one of our clients. This full-time role is based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia and is central to managing procurement activities for real estate development and property operations. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Summary

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the strategic sourcing and purchasing of materials, services, and contractor packages. This involves ensuring cost efficiency, maintaining quality standards, facilitating timely delivery, and ensuring strict compliance with company policies and project-specific requirements across all procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities for construction materials, fit-out works, equipment, professional services, and facility management contracts.
  • Coordinate with project, engineering, finance, and property management teams to understand procurement requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers, contractors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and tender documents.
  • Analyze technical and commercial proposals and prepare bid comparison reports.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contract conditions.
  • Prepare purchase orders, service agreements, and subcontractor contracts.
  • Monitor deliveries and contractor performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and project timelines.
  • Maintain approved supplier lists, procurement records, contracts, and vendor performance evaluations.
  • Support value-engineering and cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, budgets, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor real estate and construction market trends, supplier availability, and material price changes.
  • Coordinate with finance teams to verify invoices, payment milestones, and budget utilization.
  • Identify procurement risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position must possess 5 to 10 years of experience in procurement, ideally within real estate development, construction, or property operations.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position located in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on real estate and property management.
