Project Construction Manager GOSP Experience

About the Role

Eram Talent is seeking a Project Construction Manager with specialized experience in Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSP). This contract position is based in the Eastern region and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The Project Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with approved schedules and Saudi Aramco standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily on-site construction activities, including civil works and mechanical/equipment installation, ensuring compliance with project plans, budgets, schedules, and Saudi Aramco standards (SAES).
• Manage and coordinate international and local subcontractors, monitoring performance and ensuring timely completion of assigned work.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements, Saudi Aramco Permit to Work (PTW) procedures, safety instructions, environmental regulations, and project quality standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure all construction and installation activities meet contractual requirements and pass client inspections.
• Monitor construction progress, prepare regular reports, identify potential delays and risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedule.
• Coordinate with engineering and design teams on constructability reviews, design clarifications, technical queries, site modifications, and design changes.
• Review construction methods, work sequences, resource requirements, and site conditions to improve execution efficiency and resolve technical or interface issues.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment at the site.
• Assess the impact of design and procurement changes on construction activities and schedules, ensuring timely coordination and resolution among relevant teams.
• Identify and resolve site constraints, material shortages, subcontractor issues, and construction-related challenges to ensure uninterrupted project execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Verifiable direct experience as a Construction Manager or in a senior site leadership role on Saudi Aramco EPC projects.
• Proven record of successful execution and delivery of Saudi Aramco Gas Oil Separation Plant (GOSP) projects, which is a priority qualification.
• Practical management experience in heavy civil construction and complex installation phases within the oil and gas or heavy industry sector.
• In-depth understanding of Saudi Aramco standards, procedures, and safety regulations, including familiarity with document systems such as SAES and SAMSS.
• PMP, OSHA/NEBOSH/IOSH certification, or prior holding of a Saudi Aramco-approved SAP Number.
• Proven track record of integrating and driving a multi-source subcontractor portfolio to complete project delivery.
• Experience working in EPC organizations, consortiums, or integrated project teams.

Project Coordination and Management

This role involves extensive coordination with various teams including subcontractors, engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and project management. The Project Construction Manager will ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of construction-related issues, maintaining alignment with project objectives and client expectations.

The position is a contract role based in the Eastern region, focusing on on-site construction activities within the oil and gas sector, specifically for Saudi Aramco projects. The work environment demands adherence to stringent safety and quality standards.
