KBR is seeking a QA/QC Rotating Engineer who is a Saudi National to join their team. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Role Overview

The QA/QC Rotating Engineer will be responsible for technical and supervisory duties, ensuring compliance with international standards and codes related to mechanical works. This role involves overseeing the quality assurance and quality control aspects of rotating mechanical equipment throughout various project phases, from installation to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the progress of mechanical rotating works, including installation and commissioning across different units.
• Plan and control all inspection activities related to mechanical rotating works.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical rotating works.
• Monitor final inspections of completed mechanical rotating works prior to client handover.
• Review mechanical shop drawings and vendor drawings to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Evaluate mechanical material submittals for adherence to contract documents.
• Review mechanical specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents.
• Implement the SATORP Mechanical Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings of mechanical works, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranties.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
• Encourage the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures before and during work.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Saudi National.
• 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC for rotating mechanical equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of international standards and codes applicable to mechanical works.
• Experience in supervising and following up on mechanical rotating works, installation, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in planning and controlling inspections of mechanical rotating activities.
• Familiarity with testing and commissioning processes for mechanical rotating works.
• Ability to review technical documents such as shop drawings, vendor drawings, material submittals, specifications, and calculations.
