Role Overview

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a QA/QC Rotating Engineer to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time position involves technical and supervisory responsibilities related to mechanical works, ensuring adherence to international standards, codes, and organizational protocols. The role requires a strong focus on quality assurance throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the progress of mechanical rotating works, including installation and commissioning across various units.
• Plan and control all inspection activities for mechanical rotating works and related tasks.
• Oversee testing and commissioning procedures for mechanical rotating works.
• Monitor final inspections of completed mechanical rotating works prior to client handover.
• Review mechanical shop drawings and vendor drawings to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Evaluate mechanical material submittals for adherence to contract documents.
• Assess mechanical specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents.
• Implement the SATORP Mechanical Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review as-built drawings of mechanical works, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures before and during work execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance.
• Well-organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills within large organizations.
• Demonstrated maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems effectively.
• Strategic management skills.
