We are currently seeking dedicated Quality Control Inspectors (QCI) specializing in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) for offshore operations to join our team in Saudi Arabia on a full-time basis.
Role Overview
The Quality Control Inspector (QCI) E&I Offshore will be responsible for executing professional inspection jobs on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities within offshore environments. This role ensures strict conformity with quality control plans and approved inspection test plans, contributing to the overall quality and safety standards of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and execute inspection jobs with professionalism.
- Perform specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities directly on site.
- Issue relevant Quality Records and prepare non-conformance reports for the QC Supervisor when necessary.
- Verify conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain all necessary documentation.
- Check procedures and equipment designated for tests, controls, and inspections.
- Manage documentation that certifies tests, controls, and inspections.
- Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
- Verify special processes and the qualifications of workers involved.
- Conduct visual inspections, dimensional tests, and check ratings and material for connections.
Inspection Scope
Inspectors will focus on a range of electrical and instrumentation components and systems, including but not limited to:
- Power transformers and switchboards.
- Accumulator batteries and sockets outlets.
- Lighting systems.
- Remote terminal units and various instruments.
- Cables and tunings.
Required Experience
Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quality control inspection, particularly within Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) and offshore environments.
