The Role: React Native Mobile Developer

Code Ninja is seeking an experienced React Native Mobile Developer to design, build, test, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android. This full-time role involves close collaboration with product owners, business analysts, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile experiences. The position requires 6-9 years of experience in mobile development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
• Build reusable components and scalable mobile application architectures.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive mobile interfaces.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, session management, and data storage.
• Improve application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects across iOS and Android platforms.
• Implement push notifications, deep linking, and device-specific features.
• Collaborate with QA on unit testing, integration testing, and UAT defect resolution.
• Manage application builds, signing, and releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards and security best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 6–9 years of mobile application development experience, with at least 3 years specifically in React Native.
• Solid understanding of React concepts, including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous operations.
• Familiarity with native iOS and Android development concepts.
• Experience with native modules and third-party SDK integration.
• Knowledge of mobile application security, secure storage, and authentication.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile build tools.
• Understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging.
• Track record of publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with both React Native CLI and Expo.
• Familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
• Experience with Firebase services, analytics, and push notifications.
• Knowledge of biometric authentication, device security, and certificate pinning.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, or Appium.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and Jira.

Performance Indicators

Success in this role will be measured by the delivery of reliable, high-performance mobile applications on both iOS and Android. Key indicators include code that meets security, quality, and coding standards, timely delivery of sprint commitments, low defect rates, quick resolution of production issues, smooth application releases, and seamless integration with backend services.
