Senior Mobile Application Developer

About the Role

NSG Geospatial Services is seeking a Senior Mobile Application Developer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a highly skilled professional with strong expertise in Flutter and React Native, solid software engineering fundamentals, and practical experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial application development. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance mobile applications utilizing Flutter and/or React Native frameworks.
• Build reusable components, maintainable codebases, and modular application architectures.
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces that ensure excellent usability and performance.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, authentication services, real-time services, and various backend systems.
• Implement secure local storage, offline capabilities, background processing, push notifications, and effective application state management.
• Identify and resolve complex application crashes, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and platform-specific issues.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with substantial focus on mobile application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Flutter and/or React Native, demonstrated through production-grade applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Dart and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, asynchronous programming, concurrency, and software design principles.
• Proven experience in designing scalable mobile application architectures.
• Practical experience integrating REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, and third-party SDKs.
• Demonstrated experience with GIS, digital maps, geospatial data, or location-based applications.
• Strong debugging, analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with automated testing, application profiling, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
• Experience with native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C.
