iOS Developer

About the Role

Xapo is seeking an iOS Developer to join its team. This full-time, remote position is based in Riyadh and involves building components for a mobile application that enables users globally to manage money and Bitcoin securely. The role contributes to developing tools that help individuals protect their savings.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile application components to facilitate secure global transactions for money and Bitcoin.
• Contribute to a platform designed to enhance financial accessibility and security for users worldwide.
• Collaborate with a remote team in an agile environment.
• Maintain high standards for code reusability, testability, and readability.

Technical Environment

The technical stack for this role includes:

• Swift *
• Development of a proprietary UI Component Library, primarily using UIKit.
• Reactive Programming with ReactiveSwift.
• Implementation of unit, snapshot, and integration tests using Quick/Nimble.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in iOS development with Swift.
• Proficiency in code sharing, pull requests, and code reviews using Git.
• Experience working with teams in an agile environment, utilizing tools such as Jira.
• Commitment to clean code principles, emphasizing reusability, testability, and readability (SOLID).
• Familiarity with the specified tech stack.
• Self-motivated with initiative and enthusiasm for remote team collaboration.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• A dedicated workspace with a reliable and fast internet connection.
• Essential equipment meeting minimal technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCI), Fastlane, and static code quality analytics.
• Experience in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Knowledge of Kotlin, including multiplatform development for both Android and iOS.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with SwiftUI.
