About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Receptionist to join the team at InterContinental Riyadh. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on providing professional guest services and administrative support at the hotel's front desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, verifying information and ensuring accurate registration details.
• Process room payments, deposits, and other guest transactions.
• Address guest requests, inquiries, and complaints professionally.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, restaurants, and local attractions.
• Manage room assignments and coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room status.
• Handle telephone calls, emails, and guest messages promptly.
• Assist guests with reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
• Monitor arrivals, departures, VIP guests, and special requests.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update the hotel system accordingly.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests are followed up.
• Prepare and review daily reports and handover information.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and InterContinental service standards.
• Handle guest keys and ensure proper key control procedures are followed.
• Assist with luggage arrangements and transportation requests when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
• Follow cash handling, security, health, and safety procedures.
• Promote hotel services and facilities when appropriate.
• Support colleagues and other departments during busy periods.
• Attend daily briefings and communicate important guest information to the team.
• Complete all assigned tasks and ensure a proper handover at the end of the shift.
