Safety Agent ( Saudi Only )

About the Role

Accor is seeking a Safety Agent to join its team. This full-time role is open to Saudi nationals only and involves conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards across hotel facilities. The Safety Agent will play a key role in maintaining a safe environment for guests, colleagues, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections in guest areas, back-of-house areas, kitchens, public areas, and other hotel facilities.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and potential risks, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Monitor compliance with hotel health and safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure emergency exits, fire doors, evacuation routes, and assembly points remain accessible and clearly marked.
• Perform routine checks of fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, emergency equipment, and other safety facilities.
• Report any damaged, missing, or malfunctioning safety equipment to the relevant department.
• Assist in responding to fire alarms, medical emergencies, accidents, and other emergency situations.
• Support evacuation procedures and emergency drills as directed by Safety or Security Management.
• Accurately and promptly record and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain safety inspection checklists, logs, and related documentation.
• Follow up with relevant departments on reported safety issues and corrective actions.
• Promote safe working practices among colleagues and contractors.
• Assist with safety inductions and awareness sessions for new colleagues when required.
• Ensure contractors and service providers comply with hotel safety requirements while working on-site.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Security, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and other departments on health and safety matters.
• Support compliance with applicable local health, safety, fire, and civil defense requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling safety incidents and reports.
• Perform any other safety-related duties assigned by the Safety Manager or management.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in a related field.
• Ability to identify and report safety hazards.
• Understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the hospitality sector, requiring on-site presence to conduct inspections and respond to safety-related matters across various hotel areas.
