Building Construction Co is seeking a Safety Engineer to join its team. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring safety standards and practices within the company's operations.

Work Summary

The Safety Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and procedures. This role involves identifying potential hazards, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of work sites and equipment.
• Identify potential hazards and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and propose preventive measures.
• Provide safety training and education to employees.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
• Ensure compliance with all local and national safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a safety engineering role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and documentation.
