About the Opportunity

Wood is seeking a Safety Supervisor HSE to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on Project Management Consultancy (PMC) within the oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, and petrochemical industries, specifically involving engineering design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in construction safety activities for large-scale projects.
• Conduct safety compliance audits in accordance with the Saudi Aramco Contractor Safety Administrative Requirements and the Construction Safety Manual.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and follow up on corrective action procedures to address safety deficiencies and enhance compliance.
• Ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of established safety programs.
• Perform accident and incident investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies, such as Helix or Taproot.

Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, industry, or HSEQ specific discipline.
• Possession of an internationally recognized professional safety certification (*, CSP, CMIOSH).
• Trained and competent Internal Auditor.

Required Experience and Expertise

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in oil & gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, onshore, offshore, or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven experience in construction safety activities on large-scale projects, including engineering design projects.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting safety compliance audits and ensuring adherence to safety program requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of international safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, incident prevention, and safety management systems.
