The Role of Security Manager (Saudi National)

Accor is seeking a Security Manager (Saudi National) for a full-time position. This role is critical for maintaining the highest security standards within the hotel premises, requiring vigilance and rapid response to emerging situations. The position offers growth opportunities for an ambitious applicant.

Key Responsibilities

• Train Security Officers in surveillance equipment operation, report writing, record keeping, patrol procedures, and first aid.
• Disseminate all management information to team members.
• Conduct patrols and regular checks on Security Officers to ensure alertness and efficient duty performance.
• Lead criminal investigations, prepare investigation papers, and report cases within the hotel.
• Conduct surveillance on hotel staff to ensure adherence to House Rules and monitor movements of staff under investigation.
• Control and direct emergency personnel traffic during incidents such as fire, bomb threats, police assistance, injury, or illness.
• Inspect all security equipment to ensure proper working order and correct camera focus.
• Perform routine daily checks to ensure proper maintenance, issuance, and accountability of security items.
• Cultivate informers to obtain security-related information for prevention and detection purposes.
• Record all departmental activities in the Daily Security Report.
• Provide security coverage for VIP guests.
• Be available on-call, including off-duty hours, for any emergencies.
• Conduct performance reviews with the team and identify members with potential for development.
• Continuously monitor team members' appearance, attitude, and professionalism.
• Conduct detailed induction programs for new employees.
• Develop, conduct, and maintain staff training programs focused on development needs and new skill acquisition.
• Prepare weekly staff schedules considering anticipated business, operating budgets, and service standards.
• Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety and emergency procedures.
• Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures.
• Attend all assigned briefings, meetings, and trainings.
• Report for duty on time, wearing a clean and complete uniform.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by hotel management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant security role.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high security standards and respond effectively to incidents.
