Site Supervisor

About the Role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee and execute on-site fit-out activities in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The Site Supervisor will coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and successful handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct daily site surveys and set out/mark interior finishes.
• Plan, organize, and delegate tasks to foremen, chargehands, and subcontractors.
• Monitor work progress against the project schedule and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare detailed work programs and project schedules using MS Project.
• Maintain accurate daily site reports, including progress updates and photographic records.
• Report progress, risks, and issues regularly to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with all trades, including civil, joinery, MEP, and finishing works.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, mall management, landlords, and clients.
• Ensure all works are executed in line with approved drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals (WIRs, MIRs) with QA/QC teams and consultants.
• Identify defects, raise snag lists, and ensure timely closure of all snags.
• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and local regulations.
• Monitor material delivery, storage, and usage on-site, ensuring alignment with approved submittals.
• Ensure all required work permits are obtained prior to execution.
• Verify subcontractor work quantities and progress (as-built) and support cost control.
• Maintain proper documentation, including drawings, RFIs, approvals, and site instructions.
• Prepare and manage snag lists, supporting testing & commissioning activities and O&M manual submission.
• Identify potential risks and proactively escalate issues to the Project Manager, implementing mitigation actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in site supervision, particularly in fit-out activities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules and budgets.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed work programs and project schedules (MS Project).
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and control processes.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and regulations.
• Experience in coordinating with various trades, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
