About the Backend Engineer Role

Hire Feed is seeking a Backend Engineer for a contract position in Saudi Arabia. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable backend systems to support high-performance applications. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficient APIs and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services utilizing modern frameworks and tools.
Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability for a global user base.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
Debug and resolve issues in production environments, prioritizing system uptime.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API development and integration.
Strong understanding of databases, including SQL and NoSQL, and query optimization.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, such as Git.
