About the Role

Datamatics Technologies is seeking an experienced Back End Developer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications and APIs. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services to support web and mobile applications.
• Build secure, high-performance, and reliable server-side applications.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data access layers.
• Integrate third-party services and enterprise applications through APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend application performance.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in backend development. Essential expertise includes backend development frameworks, microservices architecture, database design, API development, and cloud-native application development.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Experience building cloud-native and distributed applications.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design and event-driven architectures.
