About Omnissa and the Solution Engineer Role

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Solution Engineer at Omnissa, you will manage the technical relationships with large-scale enterprise and premier customers. Your role involves providing technical support to sales teams during sales motions and proactively driving the adoption and consumption of Omnissa products and solutions within existing accounts. You will serve as a trusted advisor, influencing the long-term digital workspace strategies of these customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage regularly with customer technology decision-makers to build long-term business relationships and promote Omnissa solutions.
  • Enable and manage existing customers to maximize value from their Omnissa products, ensuring they have access to correct resources and stay updated with solutions.
  • Deliver tailored technical enablement, product update, and technology roadmap sessions to new and existing customers as needed.
  • Track and support sales opportunities, working with Account teams to ensure technical validation of proposed solutions against customer requirements. This may include conducting proof of concepts, responding to RFPs/RFIs, performing solution demonstrations, and leading technical workshops.
  • Craft and propose customer solutions that differentiate Omnissa software and services, meet customer requirements and objectives, and demonstrate competitive advantages.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of Omnissa products and solutions.
  • Support the Omnissa marketing team with marketing events, which may include public speaking at industry events and delivering webinar content.
  • Assist customers with product queries and provide an escalation path for support issues.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Desirable: 3+ years of EUC (End User Computing) Pre-Sales experience or 5+ years as an EUC technology delivery consultant.
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, with a background in either the customer or partner landscape.
  • Experience in desktop management, including Windows, macOS, Linux, or ChromeOS.
  • Experience with mobile device platforms such as Android, iOS, and iPadOS.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Identity and Access Management systems.
  • Experience with configuring and deploying solutions such as:
    • Mobile Device Platforms (Omnissa Workspace One, Microsoft Intune, Ivanti, SOTI)
    • Physical Desktop Management (Omnissa Workspace One, Microsoft Intune, Ivanti)
    • DaaS / SaaS Services (Omnissa Horizon Cloud, Microsoft AVD(W365), Amazon Workspaces Core, Citrix)

Essential Skills and Attributes

Candidates must be immensely capable, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude. The ability to adapt to change and a genuine passion for the EUC technology space are essential. Strong presentation skills are required, along with the ability to build and deliver high-quality product demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences. Excellent listening, reasoning, and objection handling skills are also critical. The role requires effectiveness in working both independently and as part of a team.
