About the Role

Red Sea Global is seeking a Specialist - Retail to deliver an exceptional retail experience. This full-time role involves welcoming and assisting guests, processing transactions, and providing product recommendations in a manner that reflects the attraction's values. The Specialist will also support the cross-promotion of the attraction's activities and offerings to enhance the overall guest experience and drive revenue. Candidates should have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner, aligning with service standards.
• Assist guests with product inquiries, providing accurate and knowledgeable information to support purchasing decisions.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, card, and digital payment methods.
• Actively cross-sell and upsell retail products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Promote and cross-sell the attraction's wider activities, experiences, and offerings to encourage guest participation and increase overall revenue.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space, ensuring products are correctly displayed and shelves are fully stocked.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels, reporting low inventory to the relevant supervisor in a timely manner.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, escalating to the supervisor when necessary.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
• Adhere to all cash handling procedures and ensure till accuracy at the opening and closing of each shift.
• Participate in stock counts, audits, and inventory checks as required.
• Comply with all health, safety, and operational policies and procedures at all times.

Work Environment and Context

This role operates within a fast-paced retail environment that involves direct customer interaction. The Specialist is required to support daily store operations, contribute to sales targets, and participate in customer satisfaction initiatives. The position may require flexible schedules, including work on weekends, public holidays, and during peak retail periods. Collaboration with store management, sales associates, and support functions is essential to achieve business objectives.

Financial Dimensions

The Specialist is responsible for contributing to individual and store sales targets. This role supports inventory control and stock accuracy to minimize losses and shrinkage, and contributes to revenue growth through effective product promotion and upselling. Compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and financial transactions is required.
