The Role of Storekeeper

El Seif Engineering Contracting Company is seeking a Storekeeper for a full-time position. This role involves managing, organizing, and maintaining inventory within the company's warehouse or at project sites. The Storekeeper is responsible for the systematic handling of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring accurate stock levels and adherence to company procedures and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of items to facilitate identification and access.
• Record and update stock movement in the inventory system or manual register.
• Issue materials and supplies based on approved Material Request Forms (MRF).
• Conduct periodic stock checks and prepare comprehensive inventory reports.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
• Ensure all goods are stored under appropriate conditions to prevent damage or deterioration.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the storage area.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies promptly.
• Handle the return of defective or excess materials to suppliers or the main warehouse.
• Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and established procedures at all times.
