Supervisor Engineering Project (Ops)

About the Role

NADEC is seeking a Supervisor – Engineering Projects to join its team in Harad, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for coordinating and supervising the execution of engineering projects across manufacturing and processing facilities. The role involves overseeing projects from design review through installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering projects related to Dairy, Juice, Beverage, Food Processing, Utilities, Packaging, and Infrastructure installations.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and contractor performance.
• Review and interpret engineering documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts, utility layouts, and electrical drawings.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation installation activities.
• Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, validation, and production trial activities.
• Support automation and controls testing, including PLC I/O verification, HMI testing, and safety circuit validation.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Food Safety requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, engineering drawings, commissioning reports, and handover dossiers.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, risks, and recovery plans to support successful project delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in engineering project supervision. The position requires a strong understanding of project execution across various industrial settings, particularly within manufacturing and processing facilities.

This role is based in Harad, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis within NADEC's manufacturing and processing facilities. The successful candidate will contribute to engineering projects within one of the region's leading food and agriculture companies.
