About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. This full-time role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting candidates to assessment and hiring. The specialist will build strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders to deliver service excellence and recruitment expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with hiring managers, providing recruitment expertise and service excellence.
  • Implement creative sourcing and recruiting strategies to identify and select top global talent for current and future opportunities.
  • Drive the talent acquisition strategy from business needs analysis and job description development to presenting shortlists to HR Business Partners.
  • Provide market intelligence on hiring trends and research competitive markets and peer organizations.
  • Manage the identification and qualification of sources for desired skills in the marketplace.
  • Build a strong pipeline of potential candidates through networking, sourcing, applicant tracking systems, and internet resources.
  • Develop job-appropriate behavioral and competency-based interview questions and coach Hiring Managers on interviewing techniques.
  • Effectively manage vendor partnerships for complex talent searches, balancing organizational goals and expense management.
  • Assist in developing budgets and short-term forecasts for various talent acquisition plans.
  • Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics.
  • Provide timely updates to hiring managers regarding industry trends and the marketplace, collaborating on solutions.
  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged.
  • Ensure compliance with talent acquisition policies and procedures, contributing to process improvement.
  • Stay informed about new trends in talent acquisition practices across different industries.
  • Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 year of experience in talent acquisition or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to source, attract, assess, and hire new talent.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with business partners and stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in various sourcing and recruiting strategies.
  • Ability to provide market intelligence and research competitive landscapes.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and internet resources for candidate pipeline building.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment techniques.
  • Vendor management skills for complex talent searches.
  • Analytical skills for creating reports on key talent acquisition metrics.
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition policies, procedures, and industry trends.
