Talent Management & Acquisition Director

About the Role

ASMO is seeking a Talent Management & Acquisition Director to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to developing and maintaining a robust talent pipeline, ensuring the organization has the necessary skills and competencies to achieve its business objectives. The Director will oversee all aspects of workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and training and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Department’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with corporate strategies.
• Develop annual business plans for the Department and ensure the achievement of financial and strategic objectives.
• Report to the Chief Human Resources Officer on activity progress, opportunities, challenges, and mitigations.
• Manage and continuously monitor departmental performance to identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Direct and manage Talent Management department mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes.
• Contribute to the formulation of the HR strategy, prioritizing employee retention.
• Oversee and direct internal/executive recruitment, search, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with KSA labor law in all talent management processes.
• Direct the design and application of the performance management system, aligning corporate and departmental KPIs.
• Direct the development of training initiatives and oversee all internal and external training programs.
• Plan individual career paths for high-achieving candidates based on future company needs.
• Ensure seamless integration between talents from Aramco and DHL.
• Develop ASMO’s recruitment program, ensuring alignment with business plans and objectives.
• Collaborate with the Sales Direct Manager to develop an effective sales training program with corresponding KPIs.
• Manage the performance of department employees, define workforce requirements, and ensure talent recruitment, training, and development.
• Recommend an optimal organizational structure for the Human Resources Department in coordination with the Chief Human Resources Officer.
• Monitor and manage operational accounting entries in compliance with financial and internal standards.
• Prepare and recommend the Department’s budget in alignment with the annual business plan.
• Monitor the Department’s financial performance against the approved budget and recommend mitigating actions for unsatisfactory performance.
• Identify and manage the implementation of change initiatives on systems, processes, and practices.
• Manage the development and implementation of Departmental policies, systems, processes, and procedures.
• Identify and manage the implementation of improvements to ensure compliance with ASMO’s standards and regulatory requirements.
• Present regular and ad-hoc management reports, providing recommendations and strategic insights to the Chief of Human Resources.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in talent management and acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans for talent functions.
• Proven experience in managing recruitment, performance management, and training programs.
• Strong understanding of KSA labor laws and their application in talent processes.
