About the Role

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking a Technical Advisor - Process to join their team. This full-time position requires a Lead Process Engineer with extensive experience in the design of process units, pipelines, utilities, and offsite facilities. The role spans from the conceptual stage through detailed design of medium to large-size projects, demanding thorough knowledge of project and process engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 10-15 Process Engineers and related discipline engineers and designers.
• Scope projects, including defining process deliverables.
• Review and approve process deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, Design Basis documents, Process Narratives, Process Calculations, and Equipment Specification documents.
• Review and approve process engineering work plans and basis of design documents.
• Estimate work-hours for assigned tasks.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, including clients.
• Ensure the design integrity of the process engineering scope, manage staff performance, and ensure on-schedule delivery within budget.
• Lead technical presentations to clients and their representatives as required.
• Serve as a technical resource for Process Engineers and related discipline engineers and designers.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure correct application of applicable procedures and standards (client, KBR, and international).

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in upstream Oil and Gas Facilities Design.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HYSYS simulation for upstream Oil and Gas projects.

Skills and Attributes

• Proven experience in the design of process units, pipelines, utilities, and offsite facilities.
• Thorough knowledge of projects/process engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to both Discipline Management and Project Management.
