About the Role

Wood is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join its Electrical Engineering department in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering the opportunity to contribute to a variety of Wood projects.

Role Context

The Electrical Engineer will work under close supervision, applying academic knowledge to project responsibilities. This role involves performing routine engineering assignments that require a foundational understanding of basic engineering standards, utilizing prescribed standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate interest in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
• Resolve specialty-related engineering issues by applying accepted engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Contribute to the technical delivery of engineering excellence through the execution of assigned scopes of work within the electrical engineering discipline.
• Assist in the development of engineering deliverables, including philosophies, reports, specifications, calculations, data sheets, and technical requisitions related to specific scopes of work.
• Solve routine problems within clearly defined procedures, with ready access to support and guidance from experienced professionals.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0-1 years of relevant professional experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, working as part of the Wood Team within the Electrical Engineering department.
