The Flex is seeking a Video Editor to join ***, a company building an AI operating system for short-term rental businesses. Born from The Flex's technology, *** assists property managers in launching, operating, and scaling their businesses with AI. This full-time role is based in Saudi Arabia and requires 0-1 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Video Editor will transform raw footage, product recordings, and concepts into launch films, social media content, and advertisements. This hands-on creative position focuses on storytelling, pacing, sound, and motion. The individual will contribute to concept development, identify compelling hooks, and manage each video through to its final cut. The work will highlight ***'s capabilities for short-term rental operators and share the stories of the team behind the product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit product launches and brand films, integrating storytelling, product demonstrations, and visual direction.
  • Create founder-led content from interviews, talking-head footage, and behind-the-scenes material.
  • Produce short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, focusing on strong hooks and purposeful pacing.
  • Develop paid ad creatives with variations in openings, messaging, and calls to action.
  • Utilize screen recordings, motion graphics, kinetic typography, and visual explanations to animate product features.
  • Manage post-production, including footage selection, editing, color grading, sound design, music, captions, and final exports.
  • Employ AI creative tools for generating supporting visuals, voiceovers, and other assets to enhance results or accelerate production.
  • Ensure visual identity consistency across various formats and channels.
  • Improve content based on performance insights, using data such as retention, watch time, and conversion to inform future edits.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, editing proficiency, and visual aesthetic.
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, with motion design skills in After Effects or a similar tool.
  • Ability to engage viewers within the first three seconds and sustain their interest.
  • Skill in transforming extensive recordings into concise, compelling narratives.
  • Understanding of how music, silence, sound effects, and pacing influence emotion.
  • Comfortable integrating AI tools such as Runway, Kling, Sora, and ElevenLabs into the creative workflow.
  • Capable of independent work, meeting deadlines, and responding constructively to feedback.
  • Balances production speed with quality and attention to detail for polished results.
  • Experience with SaaS product videos, founder content, documentary storytelling, or paid social ads is an advantage.
