Voice Over Artist

About the Role

Sasorisoft is seeking five Voice Over Artists to contribute to a commercial video game project. This is a contract position based in Saudi Arabia, requiring remote work. We are looking for performers interested in a long-term collaboration across multiple recording sessions throughout the game’s production, with an expected experience level of 0-1 years.

Project Details

This role involves voicing main characters for a commercial video game developed by Sasorisoft. The project requires five voice roles: two male and three female. The primary performance language is Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), with remote recording sessions scheduled in advance and agreed upon.

Key Requirements

• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory, with the ability to perform naturally and clearly in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). A light regional accent is acceptable if clarity is maintained.
• Proficiency in English is required for communication and understanding recording directions.
• Strong acting ability with an expressive, theatrical vocal performance. Performances must convey emotional depth, character, and dynamic vocal expression, avoiding flat or monotonous delivery.
• Ability to convey a range of emotions, including confidence, anger, fear, sadness, pain, and determination.
• Ability to adjust vocal tone, intensity, pacing, and delivery according to the character and scene.
• Willingness to receive direction and perform revisions as necessary.
• Ability to maintain consistent character voice across multiple recording sessions.
• Professional communication and reliability.

Remote Recording Setup

• Applicants must have a suitable microphone and a quiet recording environment capable of producing clean, high-quality audio.
• Actors are expected to record locally using appropriate audio recording software.
• Final audio must be delivered as uncompressed WAV files, adhering to technical specifications provided by the development team.
• Discord or a similar platform may be used for communication and live performance direction during recording sessions; Discord audio itself will not be accepted as the final recording.
• Actors must be able to record multiple takes of a line when required.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is 700 SAR per recording hour. This compensation covers acting performance, local recording using the actor’s own equipment, and delivery of audio files according to agreed specifications. Any additional requirements, including pickups and revisions, will be discussed and defined in the agreement prior to production.
