The Waiter/Waitress Role

FAENA is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to delivering exceptional table service, ensuring guests receive a refined and memorable dining experience. The role involves maintaining high standards of hospitality, presentation, and service excellence in line with the resort’s luxury dining protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, professional, and personalized table service to all guests.
• Greet guests, present menus, and explain dishes, specials, and beverages as required.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, adhering to proper service standards and presentation guidelines.
• Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained throughout service.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests or special requirements.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and F&B supervisory teams for smooth service flow.
• Ensure proper handling of POS systems for order entry and billing accuracy.
• Support upselling of menu items, beverages, and special promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
• Assist in setting up and closing down restaurant sections before and after service.
• Report guest complaints, service issues, or operational concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Work as part of a team to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
• Uphold grooming, uniform, and appearance standards of FAENA.

Candidate Profile and Service Expectations

This role requires 0-1 years of experience in a service-oriented environment, ideally within luxury hospitality. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to professional service, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to uphold FAENA's standards for hospitality, presentation, and guest interaction.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The position involves various physical movements throughout work areas, including the ability to move safely on uneven terrain or in confined spaces. The Waiter/Waitress will be active, constantly moving, or occasionally sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout the work shift. This is a medium work role, requiring the ability to exert up to 20kg of force occasionally, 10kg frequently, and up to 5kg constantly, with occasional lifting and/or moving up to 15kg.
