About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a WSD Production Supervisor for its Workshop Division (WSD). This full-time role involves overseeing daily workshop operations to ensure activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications and quality standards. The supervisor will be responsible for planning, resource allocation, progress monitoring, and team supervision to achieve production targets and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including formwork, concrete, masonry work, logistics, and procurement.
  • Ensure daily production targets are met while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.
  • Monitor workload and resource utilization, assigning jobs to charge hands and workers based on skills and project priorities.
  • Review work orders, drawings, and technical specifications, ensuring correct interpretation and execution by the site team.
  • Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion.
  • Oversee the usage and upkeep of tools, machines, and equipment, reporting malfunctions or inefficiencies for corrective action.
  • Maintain records of work progress, time sheets, production logs, and material usage.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and enforce adherence to HSE policies and procedures within the workshop.
  • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to site teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, and workplace safety.
  • Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a production supervision role, preferably within a workshop or construction environment. A strong understanding of construction activities, quality standards, and safety protocols is essential for this position.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Workshop Division, requiring active supervision of daily operations. The role involves coordination with various internal teams and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
