Production Supervisor

About the Role

Tanmiah is seeking a Production Supervisor for a full-time position. This role involves overseeing production operations to ensure targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret production targets and translate them into specific objectives for each workstation per shift.
• Plan and organize shift employees to achieve daily production targets.
• Monitor and ensure all personnel adhere to work instructions and procedures.
• Optimize machine efficiencies, control wastage, and analyze yield.
• Ensure the implementation and upkeep of GMP, HACCP, and Safety systems.
• Manage site hygiene, housekeeping, and the disposal of by-products (waste).
• Support employee development through training and mentoring, and communicate skills development requirements to the Factory Manager.
• Increase employee morale and address queries from shift workers impartially.
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety procedures and proper use of PPE by all employees.
• Monitor attendance and employee time management, ensuring accurate weekly timesheets.
• Participate in maintaining operational controls and compliance with HACCP audit and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure customer service levels by producing quality products within agreed timeframes.
• Assist in investigating internal non-conformities and customer complaints by completing corrective actions.
• Request raw materials, manage stock inventory, and handle all production and SAP-related data and documentation.
• Assist in the implementation of ad-hoc projects as required.
• Perform other assignments as directed by the Factory Manager / Production Manager.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain HACCP documentation, including master cleaning schedules and GMP check sheets.
• Manage production records and filing.
• Oversee employee time management and timesheets.
• Maintain first aid and safety records.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a production supervision role or a similar capacity.
