About the Role
Alkhaleej Training & Education, operating under its Direct English KSA brand, is seeking an English Second Language (ESL) Instructor. This part-time, on-site position is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Direct English KSA, established in 1998 and part of Linguaphone's global network, is a leading provider of English language education in Saudi Arabia, supervised by the Saudi Ministry of Education. The role involves joining a professional team dedicated to delivering tailored language education solutions for learners of various skill levels.
The ESL Instructor will be responsible for fostering an encouraging learning environment and delivering effective English language lessons. This position requires a proactive approach to curriculum development, student assessment, and adapting teaching methodologies to meet individual learning needs, contributing to the success of the educational programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective English language lessons to learners with diverse skill levels.
- Plan and implement tailored lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and student needs.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to enhance the learning experience.
- Create and maintain an encouraging and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with other professional educators to share best practices and ensure educational standards are met.
- Adapt teaching approaches to cater to the individual learning needs of clients.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proficiency in English Teaching and experience in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to effectively engage with adult learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective student interaction and collaboration.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching is considered a strong advantage.
- Non-native English speakers residing in Riyadh are encouraged to apply.

Additional Information
This is a part-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. While not essential, TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is preferred. The company notes that 2-5 years of experience is required for this role.
