About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced IP Transport & Microwave Specialist to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position focused on supporting the Kingdom's digital transformation by rolling out and integrating mobile network infrastructure. We are looking for a seasoned transport expert with deep IP/MPLS knowledge and solid microwave experience to lead end-to-end delivery for new mobile network site builds.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end transport and connectivity delivery for new mobile network sites across Saudi Arabia. The focus of this position is approximately 70% IP Transport and 30% Microwave. You will serve as a critical link between field teams, implementation partners, and various transport domains, ensuring timely, fully integrated, and operationally ready site deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IP transport solutions for new mobile network site builds, with a primary focus on IP/MPLS, fiber, and aggregation/access network technologies.
• Oversee microwave transport planning, integration, and troubleshooting activities, acting as a secondary transport domain expert for site delivery solutions involving MW connectivity.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies across technical teams and implementation partners, proactively resolving obstacles and ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with major telecom service providers in Saudi Arabia throughout the rollout process, understanding their operational frameworks and deployment methodologies.
• Drive site readiness reviews, transport integration validation, troubleshooting, and final site acceptance processes to meet network performance and reliability requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in telecom network rollout and transport delivery, with a strong focus on IP/MPLS, fiber, aggregation, and access network technologies in large-scale mobile network programs.
• Solid working knowledge of microwave (MW) transport technologies, including hands-on experience in MW integration, troubleshooting, and site delivery support.
• Proven track record of working in Saudi Arabia with major local telecom service providers, demonstrating a thorough understanding of their processes, operational expectations, and deployment methodologies in a multi-vendor environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, multicultural environments.
• A strategic mindset combined with deep operational control, capable of managing multiple concurrent site deliveries and maintaining quality standards.
