Join GE Vernova as a Purchasing Manager!
As a leader in electric power generation, GE Vernova is committed to innovation and sustainability. This position plays a crucial role in the supplier strategy and daily purchasing operations at our GEMTEC Repair shop. Reporting directly to the Global Repair Purchasing Leader and the GEMTEC Plant General Manager, you will be central to driving our repair shop's operational growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy: Develop and implement a transformative sourcing team and supplier network.
  • Quality Management: Collaborate with quality teams to address supplier issues and develop recovery plans.
  • Fulfillment Oversight: Monitor supply performance, prioritizing and resolving material issues.
  • Leadtime and Cost Management: Work to implement strategies that reduce delivery times and costs.
  • Payment and Supplier Relations: Negotiate vendor terms to manage cash flow effectively.
  • Team Development: Coach and train team members on policies and procurement expertise.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster improvements in the sourcing process using Lean methodologies.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in supply chain or procurement.
  • Strong background in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement.
  • Cross-cultural leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Capability to handle complex supplier relationships.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Desired Characteristics:
  • Exceptional communication and project management abilities.
  • Preferred KSA Nationality.
  • Fluency in Arabic.
  • Experience in Gas Turbine repair or related Aviation MRO.
  • Lean and Six Sigma certification.
