Join Our Team as a General Accountant!
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced General Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, making payments, and reconciling accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Perform periodic financial analyses and provide insights to management on financial performance.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proven experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting regulations is a plus.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CMA is preferred.

• 24 years of experience in accounting for a major corporate entity
• Experience in KSA/Middle East and in banking/investment industry is preferred

• Assist in daily operations of the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial records through diligent posting of journal entries.
• Support timely recording of financial transactions to reflect the organization’s financial position accurately.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice management and payment disbursements.
• Help establish systems for tracking outstanding invoices and payments.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to developing accounting guidelines for portfolio companies.

Advisory and Stakeholder Management:

• Provide accurate financial information to stakeholders and support internal transparency.

Risk Assessment:

• Assist in identifying financial risks and contribute to internal control implementations.
