Role Overview: Technical Writer Manager

The Technical Writer Manager will lead integrated teams throughout various project phases. This part-time position involves managing the implementation and continuous improvement of the quality management system, ensuring compliance with business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements. The role also focuses on engaging stakeholders to enhance resilience, manage risks effectively, and facilitate positive change and business improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Safety First, ensuring compliance with HSE standards while fostering wellbeing, inclusion, and a positive safety culture.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, maintaining quality systems and supporting senior leaders to achieve program milestones.
• Oversee budgets, risks, and ethical governance, contributing to long-term business sustainability.
• Manage collaborative project teams, driving performance, stakeholder engagement, and best practice innovation across all phases.
• Prepare and quality-check documents, ensuring accuracy, brand alignment, and best-practice formatting.
• Refine structure, language, and narrative flow, maintaining a consistent style, tone, and voice.
• Develop templates, guidance, reports, and editorial standards supporting excellence.
• Maintain a consistent style, tone, and voice throughout documents, aligning with specified style guides.
• Draft guidance and manuals on proofreading and editing best practices.
• Introduce and champion innovative approaches, tools, technologies, and AI-powered assistants to improve the efficiency, quality, and consistency of document development, review, and publication processes.
