About the Role

Valeo Health is seeking a dedicated Category Manager to lead the development and launch of new health and wellness verticals. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role focused on taking new product categories from inception to significant revenue generation. The position is based in Riyadh and is a full-time, onsite role.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Category Manager will have complete ownership of new health categories, requiring a high degree of initiative and accountability. The role involves comprehensive management from initial research through to scaling revenue. This position demands a proactive approach to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and execute product launches independently.

• Take full accountability for the research, development, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) testing, and official launch of new health categories.
• Develop and implement growth strategies to scale categories into significant revenue drivers.
• Conduct strategic market and consumer research to identify high-potential opportunities within the Saudi Arabian wellness sector.
• Execute across multiple functions, from high-level strategy to granular product listing and logistics, with the expectation of launching products independently.
• Maintain a sales-driven, customer-first approach, ensuring all decisions support growth and customer satisfaction.
• Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to optimize workflows, content creation, and data analysis for increased efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong background in high-growth environments and a proven ability to manage categories or programs effectively. A proactive and accountable mindset is essential for success in this role.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-growth startups, with a focus on category or program management.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math). A Master’s degree is considered a plus.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
• Experience in the health, wellness, or biotech industries is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and a 100% accountability mindset; ability to operate as a self-starter without constant supervision.
• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance output and efficiency.

Work Environment

This is an onsite, full-time position requiring availability six days a week. The role is located in Riyadh. The work environment emphasizes high ownership and intensity, providing autonomy to build and test new ideas.
