About the Role

Tangent International is seeking a Change Management Engineer for a contract position in Saudi Arabia. This role supports large-scale network operations within a leading telecom environment, focusing on the planning, coordination, and governance of critical network changes.

Role Context

The Change Management Engineer will play a key role in maintaining network stability and service quality during telecom transformation and modernization projects. This position requires professionals with substantial telecom operations experience and a strong foundation in ITIL-based change management within complex network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of network changes, from initial planning through implementation and final closure.
• Conduct risk assessments, impact analyses, and develop rollback plans for proposed changes.
• Maintain change calendars and coordinate scheduled maintenance windows.
• Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and ensure adherence to governance processes.
• Manage emergency changes, conduct post-implementation validation, and generate change reports.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintain audit readiness, and drive continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom operations, NOC, or Back Office environments.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end network change activities.
• A solid understanding of ITIL Change Management processes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams during network implementations.
• Familiarity with RAN, Core, IMS, Transmission, and IP network architectures.
• Experience with OSS platforms, ENM, ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar change management tools.
