About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking a qualified Civil 3D Modeler specializing in Roads to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position will support major road and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed BIM models, producing construction documentation, and contributing to multidisciplinary coordination efforts in alignment with project standards and BIM requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed road and highway BIM models utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Prepare road alignments, profiles, corridors, grading plans, and cross-sections.
• Produce road layout drawings, shop drawings, and comprehensive construction documentation.
• Coordinate road models with other disciplines including utilities, structures, drainage, and landscape.
• Ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project specifications, and company standards.
• Conduct clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar software.
• Support quantity extraction and material take-offs from BIM models.
• Revise and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain records of drawings, RFIs, transmittals, and coordination reports.
• Provide technical BIM deliverables to support engineering and construction teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in road and infrastructure BIM modeling.
• Proven expertise in road and highway modeling using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Experience with corridors, grading, alignments, and earthwork modeling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with infrastructure coordination and BIM workflows.
• Experience on large-scale road or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Fluent in English.

Project Context

This role is integral to supporting significant road and infrastructure developments. Experience with highway and arterial road projects, urban infrastructure developments, utilities and transportation corridors, and mega infrastructure projects within the GCC region is highly relevant.

Work Details

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The required experience for this role is between 5 to 10 years.
