About the Commercial Sales Manager Role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on driving sales and securing the digital experience for our customers. The role is a significant contributor to company revenue and growth, requiring a dynamic and experienced sales professional to lead sales engagements.

Role Overview

The Commercial Sales Manager will partner with customers to protect their entire digital experience. This role is motivated by solving critical challenges within customer security environments and connecting them with appropriate solutions for threat prevention. Palo Alto Networks is at the forefront of platformization, offering solutions that enable customers to build zero-trust security architectures and manage critical transformations. New sales hires will participate in an immersive onboarding program called FLIGHT, which blends virtual and in-person learning at headquarters to ensure readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell Palo Alto Networks Products and Solutions through Channel Partners and direct customer interaction within the assigned region.
  • Utilize consultative selling to identify business challenges and develop solutions for prospects and customers.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks solutions.
  • Develop a detailed territory plan to create clear goals and accurate forecasting.
  • Leverage prospect stories to build compelling value propositions tailored to specific accounts.
  • Stay informed about industry news and trends and their impact on Palo Alto Networks products and services.
  • Travel as necessary within the territory and to company-wide meetings.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, preferably in the networking and/or security industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • Technical aptitude to understand how technology products and solutions address business problems.
  • Ability to identify problems, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions.
  • Experience cultivating relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and the ability to follow a structured sales process.
  • Capacity to take a holistic approach to problem-solving, understanding the bigger picture and complex interrelationships.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic, with strong communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Palo Alto Networks believes that collaboration thrives in person, and most teams work from the office full-time, with flexibility when needed. This model supports real-time problem-solving and stronger relationships.
