About the Role

Massar Business Solutions is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project objectives. This full-time position involves close collaboration with senior management to guide projects through all lifecycle phases, managing processes, procedures, and delivery requirements effectively. The ideal candidate is a strong manager, communicator, problem-solver, and organizer with robust technical knowledge and relevant industry experience, capable of coordinating stakeholders for successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure project or project section delivery meets expectations for quality, program, and budget targets.
  • Support all phases of the project life cycle through effective management of processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the administration of Construction Contracts and manage Value Engineering workshops.
  • Conduct regular progress updates with the Planning Manager and provide input for Contractor Delay Claims assessment.
  • Inspire confidence and trust in interactions with Clients and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct meetings, produce minutes, and drive outcomes.
  • Manage and motivate multi-disciplined teams and colleagues.
  • Participate in the Procurement process and contribute detailed input for monthly and other reports.
  • Anticipate problems and develop mitigation plans, participating in Risk analysis workshops.
  • Manage the Commissioning and Close-Out of projects.
  • Perform other project management duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification (University Graduate) in Project Management, Building Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated progressive increase in responsibility throughout career duration.
  • Experience with relevant projects of an appropriate scale.
  • Experience in KSA is preferred.
  • Active membership in a relevant professional institution is an additional consideration.

  • Computer competency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and/or similar programming software.
  • Proficiency in programming and tracking project progress using Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Good knowledge of Construction Contracts (*, FIDIC), procurement processes, cost management, and budgets.
  • Understanding of Local Authority, Environmental, Green Design, and planning approvals requirements.
  • Understanding of design, co-ordination, and technical issues.
  • Ability to compile accurate and detailed reports and presentations.
  • High attention to detail, initiative, self-starter ability, and capacity to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to remain focused and work effectively under pressure.
  • Mature personality, flexibility, client/customer service orientation, and a positive, constructive attitude.

Work Context

This is a full-time position based in KSA. The role reports to the Director / Project Director / Senior Project Manager.
